Mary Hager (my mother-in-law)  started the store in June 1981.  A comfort pioneer in Las Vegas with Birkenstock (and one or 2 other brands in the store).  Most remember the original Charleston store  - 600 sq feet of comfort shoe goodness.  More than 3 people in there and we were crowded!  With her mom  - Grandma Kay - as the accountant and Gordon (my father-in-law) doing repairs on his weekends from the Barber Shop, they were truly inspiring.  She opened a second store on Tropicana & Eastern  - perfect for those Grateful Dead Concerts at the Silver Bowl!   I joined in 1995 working at the Green Valley Store.  I worked in the stores learning the business, and took over the stores in 2011 .   While we have moved around with the changing city and survived Covid, we still strive to offer the best service and unique experience in our stores as we always have.   We look forward to helping you and your family find the best shoes for your comfort.
