With the Soxsol lined up against the front edge of the Birkenstock the ideal fit inside a Birkenstock sandal is ONE size smaller than your sandal size (see images above). SoxSols does recommend two sizes smaller but we find that one size is a more comfortable fit.

If you are buying a SoxSol to put in your Birkenstocks - there are a couple tricks.

If your shoe/sandal is a wide (footprint in footbed or on box) the footprint will look like an outline of a foot. Regular in Birkenstock fits quite wide.

If your shoe/sandal is a narrow (footprint in footbed or on box) the footprint will be solid or colored in. Narrow in Birkenstock fits more like a true medium.
