The Attitude of Gratitude (at work!)


It has been scientifically proven that gratitude makes you physically healthier, mentally stronger, happier in your relationships, and even improves your sleep! All that is good for you and great for your business. Here are some more ideas to spread joy and gratitude in your little corner of the world:




  • Watch the sunset or the sunrise. It’s impossible not to be grateful for that beauty.


  • Send a thank you note each week to someone who made a

difference in your life. It only takes 10 minutes, and what an


impact on you both!



  • Call your parents, or that friend from college. Just chat and be grateful to hear their voice – even if they can drive you crazy! (Some of you, like me, know how precious that call is since you can no longer make that call.)


  • Donate gently used clothing to a local clothing hutch and send each piece on its way with a thought of gratitude for the wear it’s given you.


  • Put a random thank you sticky note on your employees’ paychecks.


  • Give a service day each quarter to help those who really need your work. Get out there in your community and make a difference!
